Experimental Analysis of Algebraic Modelling Languages for Mathematical Optimization

چکیده

In this work, we perform an extensive theoretical and experimental analysis of the characteristics five most prominent algebraic modelling languages (AMPL, AIMMS, GAMS, JuMP, Pyomo) systems supporting them. our comparison, evaluate how reviewed modern match current requirements. analysis, use a purpose-built test model library to benchmarks. We provide insights on which performed best features that deem essential in mathematical optimization landscape. Finally, highlight possible future research directions for work.

Extending Algebraic Modelling Languages for Stochastic Programming

The algebraic modelling languages (AML) have gained wide acceptance and use in Mathematical Programming by researchers and practitioners. At a basic level, stochastic programming models can be defined using these languages by constructing their deterministic equivalent. Unfortunately, this leads to very large model data instances. We propose a direct approach in which the random values of the m...

MATHEMATICAL MODELLING FOR DICE FINDER GAME PROBLEM

Play is often episodic and mission-centric, with a series of challenges culminating in a final puzzle or enemy that must be overcome. Multiple missions played with the same characters may be related to each other in a plot arc of escalating challenges. The exact tone, structure, pace and end (if any) vary from game to game depending on the needs and preferences of the players, as in [9]. "THE C...

Mathematical Modelling of Pulmonary Edema

The excess accumulation of water in lung interstitial or alveolar is called pulmonary edema which is caused by factors that upset the normal Starling balance in micro-circulation. Pulmonary edema disturbs the alveolar gas exchanges which are normally regulated by the respiratory system. Mathematical modelling of pulmonary edema may help to predict the lung conditions and the mechanisms involved...
